Technology

At the heart of every SmartQR product lies a next-generation microfluidic test strip. These strips require only a small biological sample—like a drop of blood or urine—and use capillary action to conduct rapid biochemical reactions. The design ensures high specificity and sensitivity, suitable for point-of-care testing even in challenging field conditions.

All SmartQR solutions are device-agnostic, working seamlessly with a wide range of smartphones. The phone’s camera acts as an analytical sensor, scanning the test strip. The captured image is then processed in real time to extract quantitative data—transforming any smartphone into a portable health lab.

Using advanced computer vision and machine learning algorithms, SmartQR's platform analyzes the scanned test strip to detect colorimetric and structural changes with precision beyond the human eye. The AI is trained on extensive datasets to ensure consistent accuracy across different lighting conditions, phone models, and sample types.

Once data is processed, it is securely uploaded to the SmartQR cloud (when connectivity allows). This enables:
